What can be used as a top overlay when making jewelry w/ photos?
What can be used as a top overlay when making jewelry w/ photos?
Im making pendents and bracelets that have photos inserted and im looking for something that I can use to cover the image and make the iteam look more apealing. The size is 13x18 and I like the appearence when using clear cabochon but I cant find the size I need. Does anyone know of something else I could use
I've used plain thin picture frame glass but your oval would be hard to cut. and I've used laboratory slides. Another way is to place your pictures, words, beads and such in a bottle cap (the pop off kind) and fill with resin. And don't forget to punch a small hole for the jewelry rings.
