Has anyone ever heard of light pink blood mixed in with a mans semen?

My hubby and I had intercourse this morning and he noticed as he was cleaning himself that there was a little bit of blood in his semen, it was light pink blood not red. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? The blood was deffinitly coming from him. I called my doctor to make an appointment for him but he's not in until later today. In the mean time I'm just curious if this has happen to anyone else.

He may have a urinary tract infection or kidney stones.
